Storage and Shipping

To maintain the quality of Drought Secret Balms, store them in a cool, dark place. This helps preserve their beneficial compounds and prevents it from separating.
Once opened, we recommend using them within 12 months.

Please note: Our Balms are formulated with natural Oils and Butters due to which each batch may slightly vary in color or smell.
If one of our balm becomes grainy, first warm them in a slow double boiler method until fully liquefied, making sure no water enters the product, then cool them quickly in the refrigerator to prevent grainy texture as they solidify. Note: Donot heat it in the microwave or on high rapid speed. This can destroy the beneficial nutrients in the balm.

How to correctly Patch test: Apply a small amount of product to the inner forearm. Leave the patch on for the recommended duration (usually 24-48 hours) and observe the area for any adverse reactions. If a reaction occurs, such as redness, itching, or swelling, it may indicate a sensitivity or cross-reactivity to the botanical extract.

FAQ's

Rescue Butter is ideal for very dry, parched, sensitive, or reactive skin — including those prone to eczema, irritation, or redness. It’s gentle enough for children, yet effective for adult skin too.
The truth is we cannot comment on that. They are both great!! While some skin types love the Calming Butter, others prefer the thick rich formula of our Rescue Butter. It’s hard to say which one will suit you more.
Absolutely. Rescue Butter is non-comedogenic and can be used on the face, especially on very dry patches or irritated areas. Always and always patch test before use to avoid setbacks. Natural doesn’t mean go to for everyone.
To keep Calming Butter at its best, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. In winters, keep away from the radiator and windowsills. If it warms up, the texture may gently change and become a little grainy — but rest assured, this doesn’t affect its soothing power or effectiveness.
Use as needed — daily 3-5 times for dry or sensitive skin, or as a targeted applications during flare-up periods. A little goes a long way.

Our toddler has suffered with eczema for a long time and nothing would clear it up he was really suffering, we kept getting given steroid creams by the GP but after doing our own research we found Drought Secret and honestly it has changed his life! We’ve tried all the range but the Rescue Butter is the best for him and it started to clear his skin up pretty much straight away! Cannot recommend this cream enough ⭐️

Magical cream

My daughter had discoid eczema and it was a nightmare! Tried everything antibiotic and steroids but nothing really worked. I change her to goats milk formula and this cream combined with the zinc magic did the MAGIC! they really helped to stop the discharge and to get her eczema under control! THANK YOU !! X

The best!!

Can’t rate this small business enough, the product was gorgeous on my daughter’s skin.. she has suffered with eczema for years. Its rich and oily texture deeply moisturises without any stinging or residue left on clothing which is perfect. My daughter’s skin loved this alongside zinc magic.

Rescue Balm Review

I suffer from atopic eczema and usually struggle to find something that really soothes my skin without having to rely on topical steroids. I wanted to stay away from steroid creams, so I decided to give the Drought Secret Rescue Balm a try and I’m so glad I did.

I used it on my neck (see attached photo), and it worked absolute wonders. The balm calmed my skin, reduced irritation, and left it feeling nourished instead of dry or flaky. It’s such a relief to finally have something that helps without the side effects I worry about with steroid creams.

I loved it so much that I’ve already placed another order! Hopefully, I can continue to keep my eczema under control with this product.

This really is a rescue! I cannot believe the fast results for my daughter’s eczema, in having used this every night for a month. The dryness has subsided and she has much clearer, supple skin. Effective & gentle healing

Really pleased with the rescue balm. I ordered this along with the calming and zinc.

We use calming for minor flares.
Rescue and zinc combo used for more stubborn spots. I noticed a difference within 2 days of using the calming on my baby’s dry patches. We are almost 3 weeks in and her skin is noticeably softer.

With the rescue/zinc combo, I have seen massive improvement. In the past, when she would flare it would take many many weeks before the skin started to heal but since using drought secret, we are about 80% healed and getting better each day!

My baby has had mild/moderate eczema since 4 months old and stero!ds has always been a NEVER.
We’ve always used all natural remedies but Drought Secret by far has been in the most effective in helping her skin heal (while we support internally of course).
So so glad I saw their ad on my instagram feed!

Shipping was pretty quick considering we live in the US.
