Rescue Butter Balm

My son has just turned 2 and from 18 weeks suffered awful eczema. Due to his age we had to wait over a year for an allergy test and was prescribed numerous prescription medicines and cream. One night hes scratched himself so badly, his baby grow was covered in blood. We found drought secret and were willing to try anything less evasive and it has worked wonders during his flare ups as his skin is very dry on his joints. The rescue butter prevents his skin drying up and getting raw.

I have been using the rescue balm with the zinc for the last month as I’m currently going through topical steroid withdrawal and I have seen massive improvement in my skin, the zinc is my absolute favourite I have gone through 3 tubs of it already it really is magic cream thankyou

I bought this after using the calming butter and zinc and it has worked at keeping most of my sons eczema at bay. He is still having flare ups in areas on his skin. So i am going to carry on with the butters ans zinc and hopefully it will work on these areas in time..

After suffering with severe TsW, this is hands down the only cream I have used and has actually worked! We’ve been given lots of creams from the GP but nothing ever worked long term with his eczema. We were then recommended this and it has been a game changer! He still has eczema patches but not as much as he had initially but his itching has definitely calmed down a lot.

We’ve been using the rescue butter for just over 2 weeks and have been really impressed with some of the improvements that we have seen on our 4 months old skin. Within a week, the redness on our baby’s arms and legs improved massively as did the skin on her tummy. I feel you need to be quite consistent with the application as she has had flare ups on days where we haven’t been able to apply as often on areas where she was already suffering with dry/sore skin but the cream really helps to soothe her irritation and we have definitely noticed improvements. We have just ordered another pot as we have almost finished this one and are really pleased with results that we are seeing so far - we’ve used coconut oil, baby creams and emollient creams previously, which all seem to not do much or make it worse and this has become our go to grab!

Rescue Butter Balm from Drought Secret is fantastic. It’s soothing on my daughters sore, eczema prone skin, smells incredible, and melts in beautifully without feeling heavy. You can tell a lot of care has gone into this product.

I bought a small jar of Rescue Butter back in October, but didn't use it consistently. After Christmas and yet another flare up of psoriasis, I began using it in January, every day, a few times a day. I have just made my second purchase of the large jar as the results have been fantastic! I wish I had taken photos for comparison, but trust me it's worth buying. I have tried all sorts of creams to try to avoid going back to steroids and this is by far the best. Really happy we found drought secret. Wasn’t sure which products would work best for our 8 month old baby but we settled on the calming butter for his face and rescue butter for the body. After using steroids for almost 2 months we stopped all of that and committed to the rescue butter and we have definitely seen an improvement. Since hitting the menopause I have had awful red skin patches, that appear on my face, neck, arms and hands. We tried the rescue butter balm recently when my daughter was having an eczema flare. We saw the difference in DAYS. We didn't have to use her steroid creams to soothe and heal her skin. This along with the zinc magic did wonders.

Amazing for my skin. 3 months ago suddenly I started getting eczema all around my eyes. My eyes were very inflamed, red, itchy. I could not conceal it with my make up. I brought several over the counter cream and tried steroid cream however nothing worked for months! I felt completely down and not myself and lost all confidence. I brought this cream and started using it straight away. My skin around my eyes felt better after 2-3 days of using it. Around day 8 of using the product my skin was slowly healing. The cracks in my skin was starting to heal, the redness was disappearing. The urge to itch started to slowly go away. The skin around my eyes just started to feel better overall and thicker. We have been using all 3 balms on my toddler, learning how the rescue balm works compare to calming balm and we find that rescue balm has been great on my toddler’s flare up on thinner skin areas like face and back of knees, calming balm is great on other areas.

The truth of eczema/tsw recovery is never lineal but we are seeing promising signs of recovery that we haven’t been since using drought secret, so we are about to purchase more to continue supporting the healing without going back to the countless creams and steroids that we were prescribed originally that didn’t seem to make much difference as the eczema kept coming back and we felt it was only masking the problem, until now. We are also slowly trying changing the diet whilst supporting the healing process and gut health.

I use it every day on my daughter who has severe dry skin and her eczema is on its healing journey, massive inprovement, this balm keeps her skin hydrated throughout the day, i only apply two times a day and apply again if and when needed
