I buy the Rescue Butter over and over. My two year old has eczema and this works great for him! In the US our products are trash and I'm so happy I found Drought Secret in the UK!
The calming butter balm melts well onto the skin. This is the only product that takes my babies red eczema to a truly calm state. The red patches are gone! This product is expensive but it is worth the money!
The zinc magic balm is so good. I followed the advice on the Drought Secret website of applying some rescue butter first and then some zinc magic on top and the combination really helped seal all the goodness on my daughter’s skin. It lasts FOREVER also as a tiny amount goes such a long way! I’ve even used it on my daughters nappy area whenever she’s had a nappy rash (she has really sensitive skin / potential allergies as certain fruits always give her a nappy rash so we now avoid!) The daughter who I bought it for is now nearly 2 and I actually gave birth to my fourth daughter when third was 18 months - and my fourth baby who is now nearly 5mo has also got eczema but on her face and I’ve been using the calming butter which so far has helped so so much.
My third daughter has mild eczema on her arms and back - stubborn patches that other creams just wouldn’t help. This rescue butter applied daily helped clear them up! And the fact that it is all natural ingredients is so reassuring because I know a lot of us aren’t comfortable with using steroids (and rightly so in my opinion lol) especially if it isn’t needed as a last resort. And the consistency of this is also amazing - a tiny amount goes a LONG way! Which makes it last for even longer and makes the price even more worth it (it already is worth it for the fact that it works so well!).
This has to be one of the best butters I’ve used. As an eczema parent you know how many creams we try! But please use this as it’s been so helpful to my daughter.
The tiniest amount has gone a long way. We rubbed it in with the calming butter.
I have used many formulations and this has to be up there. It’s helped without that burning sensation that steroids have done damage with.
My daughter has had eczema since she was 6 weeks old and we have used every steroid available at every strength as well as every emollient. We’ve ordered others creams from online retailers but nothing has helped heal her skin slowly and naturally as this cream has along with the zinc and bath salts have. We are still on the journey as nothing will stop the previous damage done but to see my daughter no longer screaming getting into a bath or spend another morning waking up in blood covered sheets means this cream is worth everything to me as a mum and to her! So honestly thank you!
