    To maintain the quality of Drought Secret Balms, store them in a cool, dark place. This helps preserve their beneficial compounds and prevents it from separating.
    Once opened, we recommend using them within 12 months.

    Please note: Our Balms are formulated with natural Oils and Butters due to which each batch may slightly vary in color or smell.
    If one of our balm becomes grainy, first warm them in a slow double boiler method until fully liquefied, making sure no water enters the product, then cool them quickly in the refrigerator to prevent grainy texture as they solidify. Note: Donot heat it in the microwave or on high rapid speed. This can destroy the beneficial nutrients in the balm.

    How to use for Best results..

    Apply gently on clean skin until butter turns into oil. Apply 3-5 times daily or use as frequently as needed.

    Avoid Sun Exposure after using Calming Butter due to high Vit C content.

    TOP TIP- After applying Calming Butter, wait a few minutes and then seal with a thin layer or a little dab of Zinc Magic Barrier Balm. Use this combination up to twice daily to give your skin extra protection.

    HOW TO PATCH TEST?

    In cases where individuals have unknown allergies or sensitivities, patch testing makes it even more important. Patch testing involves applying a small amount of a product to a small area of the skin to check for adverse reactions.

    How to correctly Patch test: Apply a small amount of product to the inner forearm or any area on the body where the skin is clear. Leave the patch on for the recommended duration (usually 24-48 hours) and observe the area for any adverse reactions. If a reaction occurs, such as redness, itching, or swelling, it may indicate a sensitivity or cross-reactivity to the botanical extract.

    Calming Butter is ideal for dry, sensitive, or reactive skin — including those prone to eczema, irritation, or redness. It’s gentle enough for children, yet effective for adult skin too.
    They are both great!! While some skin types love the Calming Butter, others prefer the thick rich formula of our Rescue Butter. It’s hard to say which one will suit you more.
    Absolutely. Calming Butter is non-comedogenic and can be used on the face, especially on dry patches or irritated areas. Always and always patch test before use to avoid setbacks. Natural doesn’t mean go to for everyone.
    Use as needed — 3-5 times daily for dry or sensitive skin, or as a targeted applications during flare-up periods. A little goes a long way.
    To keep Calming Butter at its best, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. In winters, keep away from the radiator and windowsills. If it warms up, the texture may gently change and become a little grainy — but rest assured, this doesn’t affect its soothing power or effectiveness.

    TSW saving grace

    after suffering for years with my eczema going through tsw this has been the only product to calm my skin! 10/10 i would literally not be able to cope or shower or bath without having this to calm my skin after!! LOVE IT

    The ONLY thing that works.

    We have tried SO many different products but this is the ONLY thing that works to reduce my little one’s eczema. It instantly takes away the inflammation/redness and works wonders along with the calming butter. This has definitely been a game changer for my toddler’s severe eczema. On the second tub and will definitely order more!! The Zinc itself is definitely a magic cream.

    I highly recommend these products to anyone dealing with eczema or dry skin. It's made a noticeable difference for my toddlers eczema.     Amazing product

    We were recommended this product by my sister and we’ve been using the calming butter balm over the summer on my son’s eczema on his neck, back of his hands and back of his legs. We used it with the zinc magic and noticed a dramatic improvement with his skin. My 3 year old son itches less and we find we don’t have to constantly moisturise those dry and itchy areas of his skin.

    Life changing.

    My little girl has been on steroids since 8 weeks old and she’s now one, her eczema was so severe that nothing was helping.
    I tried this amazing cream as a desperate last attempt to help my baby.

    Results in just a few weeks!

    I bought this for my daughter and I cannot believe the incredible results in just a few weeks! She had been suffering from TSW (topical steroid withdrawal) for months. Her skin had become very dry, red and pigmented. After just a short while, the moisture in her skin seemed to return, and her pigmentation evened out.     As a girlie with TSW, I have tried EVERYTHING. Like you name it, I have tired it. Two long years into this journey so far, I can barely shower without it stinging, let alone creams. This balm has saved me - I only use it on my face and neck, but it’s been the one product I can rely on when my face is sore. It doesn’t burn, and it helps to ease the pain for me. Also my face has been looking at lot better than before. I have spent 1.5 years before this doing ‘No moisture treatment’. And though that helped with the redness, it never eased the pain, or settled the flaking. So happy with this product, and I am dying for it to be in a bigger tub. 🥲

    The best for eczema

    I’ve used all of the two balms and the zinc and I love it , my skin is extremely dry due to topical steroid withdrawal and my feet were the worst effected , the zinc has helped heal them , also my hands and arms have been left very dry and I love the calming butter on them . I will continue to recommend this brand to anyone suffering with eczema , the ingredients in the products are significantly healing , Thankyou for creating such wonderful products , they are even more special as the creators have a young daughter who went through topical steroid withdrawal 🥰

    This stuff is a staple in our home

    This stuff is a staple in our home, my daughter has super sensitive skin/eczema. But it’s not a dry eczema. It’s a red, bumpy, irritated eczema. This and the Zinc Magic combo works like a charm to calm the skin then heal!
